Welcome to Windy Acres Aviary! We sell Pheasant, Quail and Chukar in South Central Kansas and offer quality bred upland game birds for hunts and bird dog training! Though our construction business keeps us busy, you can rest assured that our birds are well cared for!
Our flight ready birds are perfect for an exciting hunt with friends, colleagues or guided hunts. We also sell to a lot of folks who need to re-populate the birds on their land. These are usually birds that come straight out of the breeder house so they are mature enough to be released into the wild with a fighting chance, but still young enough to have minimal human dependence interaction. We are even offering small quantities of processed game birds for those who want to stick it in the oven and have a feast! Whatever route you take, we will do what we can to make sure you are setup and ready to go.

How to Order
The best way to order birds is by filling out our bird order form. We use this form to keep track of how many birds we need to have on hand, for the date you would like to pick them up. To guarantee that you will have birds, our order form is the best way to go. We do sell small quantities without the form, but keep in mind this is a first come first serve basis and all customers who have filled out the order form, will receive first dibs on birds. Without a form, you will have to settle for whatever we have available at the time.

Dog Training
If you are looking to train bird dogs, you won't be disappointed with the response of our birds as they leave the box trap. Teaching your dogs to hunt with live birds like our Chukar is the perfect way to make them hunt ready and keep them seasoned all year long!
